A cop from the Los Angeles Police district did a heroic thing that was beyond his call of duty. He comforted a baby boy who was abandoned by his mother after she crashed their car into a fire hydrant.
When the police responded to the scene, they found the 2-year-old boy still strapped in his car seat and crying, while his mother was nowhere to be found. When the cops took the baby out of the car, the little kid reached out for this one particular cop, John Neal Cooke, per Yahoo. He tried his best to appease an obviously scared child and was a natural at it.
According to the report, the police was able to eventually find the baby's mom who fled the accident. She was actually drunk when the whole incident happened. Watch the whole story in the video below.
