"Fuller House" Season 2 received an early renewal from Netflix, sealing its status as the streaming site's number one show. The cast and production had to immediately get back to work on Season 2, after Season 1 launched in February 26. Netflix made it clear that it isn't planning to wait till next year to air the new season.
So, will "Fuller House" return for Season 2 in the fall? While Netflix has yet to reveal the actual premiere date for "Fuller House" Season 2, there are already hints it's planning a fall season launch.
'Fuller House' Season 2: Thanksgiving Episode
Buzzfeed reports that a Thanksgiving episode for "Fuller House" Season 2 is happening and it's the strongest indication of the upcoming season's time schedule. The special has already been filmed and it features the Legacy cast as well, specifically John Stamos and Bob Saget.
'Fuller House' Season 2: Double Time At Work
The main "Fuller House" cast is also working double time on the set as they finish one episode after the other for Season 2. Catching naps in between takes is a usual sight since work goes round the clock, as shown in this photo shared by child actor Elias Hager on his Instagram.
However, the "Fuller House" cast did take a break to celebrate the July 4 holidays with their own families the previous week. Michael Campion shared the parade in his neighborhood on Instagram, while Candace Cameron Bure shared that she had a pool party with co-star Jodie Sweetin and their kids, via Instagram as well.
John Stamos, who is one of the producers of "Fuller House," confirmed that Netflix is pushing to finish Season 2's filming. "I don't think they've announced the dates, but they're going to be a lot sooner than we released last year's," he told Entertainment Online back in April.
