"Battlefield 1" is already in the middle of its closed alpha testing among selected PS4 and Xbox One players. The random invite is expected to go on for a few days and will be followed by a beta testing. However, EA Dice has yet to announce when this beta period will take place.
Despite requests from "Battlefield 1" developer and publisher to resist sharing information during the alpha phase, some eager players can't help but post videos and screenshots of what they have experienced on the game so far. The Digital Foundry group from Eurogamer has shared an astounding 90-minute footage taken during the EA Play launch.

'Battlefield 1' Alpha Test Resolution Analysis
Gamers note that the footage presents how "Battlefield 1" is able to boost its 4K resolution capabilities quite well. Extreme Tech cites that gamers using high-end tools and equipment to play should be able to experience 2160p feature completely and with no sacrifice to the picture quality. Eurogamer also shared the full details of the gameplay, including characters and game elements.
'Battlefield 1' Beta Details
Meanwhile, "Battlefield 1" beta phase is expected to take place this summer, or a few months before its target October 2016 release date. EA Dice has already set up a website for the "Battlefield 1" beta test, but no other details have been announced so far. Gamers can choose to enlist their email address to be able to receive an invite, but this will be selected at random.
"Battlefield 1" has its pre-orders up as well and some players will be able to begin the game as early as Oct. 18, if they ordered the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition. But the game's official release date is Oct. 21, worldwide. Here is another alpha test video below, as shared by another lucky player.
