Cersei And Aegon Targaryen Will Battle For The Iron Throne In 'The Winds of Winter'

Cersie forced herself into the Iron Throne after her kids were all dead. However, her reign will not be peaceful because Aegon Targaryen is also aiming to occupy the throne.

Yibada reported that Cersei and Aegon would battle for the Iron Throne in the anticipated book "The Winds of Winter." In addition, it is likely for the Tyrells to support Aegon, given that they are at odds with Cersei.

In the TV adaptation of "ASOIAF," Lena Headey, who plays Cersei in "Game of Thrones" also feels that her characters reign will not last long, Parent Herald reported. The actress feels that the Iron Throne is for somebody else.

"Surely not!" Headey told Entertainment Weekly, when asked if Cersei's reign will last. "Not a chance in hell. It's a moment of punctuation in the madness."
