According to reports, the sixth book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series is likely to come out this year. Meanwhile, there are rumors that George RR Martin will be reading the Cersei chapter at the Worldcon.
George RR Martin To Read The Cersei Chapter At The Worldcon
Parent Herald previously reported that the 67-year-old author, George RR Martin would be attending the upcoming Worldcon. The "The Winds of Winter" scribe confirmed his attendance on the said event on his blog.
The New Mexican author is calling fans to attend the said convention, as it is a better place to talk and bond with their favorite authors. George RR Martin's appearance at Worldcon triggers the reports that he will be reading a new "The Winds of Winter" chapter and he doesn't deny it.
In the same blog, the celebrity author hinted that there would be another "The Winds of Winter" free chapter reading. "And yes, of course, I'll be doing other stuff in Kansas City as well. A couple of panels, a reading, maybe some other stuff," he wrote per the Bitbag.
George RR Martin read the Aegon chapter at the Balticon. This time, "ASOIAF" fans are hoping to hear Cersei's POV in a new "The Winds of Winter" chapter reading. In the last convention, Martin teases that he is working for a "TWOW" chapter dedicated to Cersei's POV.
Will George RR Martin be sharing the Cersei POV chapter on his next reading of "The Winds of Winter?" Fans do hope that he will because Cersei is one of the interesting characters in the series.
'The Winds of Winter' Year-End Release Imminent
The "ASOIAF" author has been generous in reading free "The Winds of Winter" chapter in every appearance he made lately. In fact, some fans believe that if they collect the free chapters, they can compile it and make a book out of it.
Due to this, there are rumors that "The Winds of Winter" will be arriving later this year. Parent Herald previously reported that the book is already done and that George RR Martin is just waiting for a year-end release.
If "The Winds of Winter"will not arrive on the said dates, then we do hope that the wait won't be long. Other sources claim "TWOW" will arrive in early 2017.
