Hideo Kojima Can't Stop Developing Games
Hideo Kojima is one of the brains behind the highly-acclaimed title "Metal Gear," the adventure games "Snatcher" and "Policenauts." He also produced and directed games in other series including "Zone of the Enders," "Boktai" and "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow."
Despite Kojima's success, he is not stopping because he feels that he is closer to developing the game in his dreams. "Every game brings me closer and closer to making what I imagine. That's why I could never stop making games," he said per Develop.
In fact, per DigitalSpy, Hideo Kojima referred to his upcoming title "Death Stranding" as his "best work." "I'm very confident that we're working towards something completely new and that no-one has seen so far. This will be my best work so far, I'm very confident about that," Hideo Kojima said about "Death Stranding."
'Metal Gear Solid' Only Exists Due To PlayStation
Meanwhile, Hideo Kojima hinted that "Metal Gear Solid" only exists due to PlayStation. According to Kojima, for him "Metal Gear" is finished and complete but when he heard about the 3D technology in PlayStation he found himself back into the game.
"For me, Metal Gear as a series was complete, finished to me, but that point I thought I would be able do what I originally intended to do with these polygons in real time," Hideo Kojima said per Games Radar. "You can say that thanks to PlayStation Metal Gear Solid existed at all. The role that PlayStation had was to make Metal Gear possible."
