'The Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date, News & Update: Bethesda Builds Up Excitement Over Argonia? 'Skyrim' Successor Details More In Demand?

"The Elder Scrolls 6," tagged to be Tamriel Black Marsh land or Argonia, sees persisten interest from enthusiasts despite E3 2016 announcement and "Skyrim" Remastered schedule. The successor of "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" by Bethesda illustrates that at times the unattainable is the more desirable.

Parent Herald cites reports that E3 2016 birthed revelations by Bethesda on the actual status of "The Elder Scrolls 6." Todd Howard, Bethesda Game Studios executive producer, admitted that the technology for "The Elder Scrolls 6" does not yet exist.

Congruently Pete Hines, Bethesda PR and Marketing Vice President, emphasized that development for "The Elder Scrolls 6" has not started. According to Pete Hines, the bottle neck for the "Skyrim" successor won't just be technology.

Instead "The Elder Scrolls 6" stands behind two large Bethesda projects in the development queue. These Bethesda undertakings are reportedly larger than "Skyrim" and "Fallout in scope.

Todd Howard, however, said that in a few years "The Elder Scrolls 6" fans will understand why the queue had to be so. According to GamingBolt, "The Elder Scrolls" fans continue to press Bethesda for hints on the "Skyrim" successor.

Pete Hines for one refused to provide any information on the "Skyrim" successor until Bethesda is good and ready for "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date. Gaming Bolt also points out that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is not the only game Pete Hines keeps mum about but also the "Skyrim" sized projects that stand ahead of "TES 6" Argonia ahead of the queue.

Just as well since "The Elder Scrolls" fans are still divided on which Tamriel map the "Skyrim" successor Bethesda ought to use. Argonia remains in the lead but Redwood, Morrowind and even Skyrim have their own fanbase for "The Elder Scrolls 6."

Parent Herald projects a 2020 "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date. Interestingly, this "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date projection coincides with predictions of Xbox Two and PS 5 availability.
