2K has finally released a new teaser for "Mafia 3," which offers more details and the background on the game's protagonist, Lincoln Clay. Entitled "The Soldier," the trailer is the first in a series that will be unveiled before the game's release on Oct. 7, 2016.
Who Is Lincoln Clay In 'Mafia 3'
The teaser introduces the new hero of "Mafia 3" as a former orphan and street kid who has been trying to survive in New Bordeaux. As a misguided youth, Lincoln Clay had ties with the mob early on, but getting enlisted to fight in the Vietnam War changed his life.
After the war, Lincoln Clay returns home to find that the people he regards as his family were massacred. Evidence of the crime leads to Sal Marcano of the Italian mob. Empowered to avenge his loved-ones, Lincoln Clay is out to get back at Marcano and his associates in "Mafia 3" and he does this by forming his own group of mobsters.
This is the main theme of "Mafia 3" and Lincoln Clay will be the character whom the players will assume in the game. Watch the new teaser below.
