Following the major disappointment at the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles last month, many "Red Dead Redemption 2" fans are now hoping for the much-awaited "RDR" sequel reveal at the 2016 Gamescom Expo in Cologne, Germany in August. However, those rumors have been recently debunked.
Several "Red Dead Redemption 2" fans were thrilled after Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games' parent company, announced their participation at the upcoming 2016 Gamescom Expo in Germany next month. In spite of the fact that the game publisher didn't expressively confirm the launch of "RDR 2," fans took the announcement as a possibility for the game reveal.
No 'Red Redemption 2' Reveal Before April 2017?
Take-Two Interactive is a confirmed exhibitor at the upcoming Gamescom Expo but it seems that "Red Dead Redemption 2" fans will be disappointed again as the studio confirmed that no new Rockstar games or "RDR 2" reveal before April 2017. But there some good news as Take-Two reveals that new games are currently under development, Daily Express noted.
"Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon," Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said.
Rockstar Games Will Never Unveil 'Red Dead Redemption 2' At Gamescom 2016
As rumors about the possible unveiling of "Red Dead Redemption 2" at the 2016 Gamescom expo continues to circulate, Gaming Bolt claims that those speculations "make absolutely no sense." The reason? Let's just say that the said event is the lowest profile one.
In addition, "Red Dead Redemption 2" fans can also stop hoping for a game reveal at the German game expo as Rockstar Games is reportedly skipping the event. So, it's best that fans won't set their hopes too high to avoid feeling disappointed.

'Red Dead Redemption 2' To Feature The Same 'RDR Map'
In other related news, NSEAVOICE hinted the possibility that "Red Dead Redemption 2"will feature the same "RDR" map. However, the map will be expandable to provide more playable areas and a new city can also be added into the game.
