"The Elder Scrolls 6" release date continues to be a highly anticipated event among fans of the video game franchise. Bethesda has yet to confirm the title's launch, but speculations about its real status continue to saturate the world wide web.
As Bethesda's Pete Hines said in a Twitter post, "I am not giving out any information about TES6 until we formally reveal it." He has also kept a tight lip on Bethesda's other titles apart from "The Elder Scrolls 6," saying, "Not giving any hints on their future projects," Express noted.
On the other hand, Bethesda director Todd Howard gave "The Elder Scrolls 6" hopefuls something to chew on by saying, "We have a pretty good idea of what that's going to be, and it's just going to take technology and time we don't necessarily have right now," IGN noted.
"I don't want to say yet, but people should know by now that the gap between hearing about it and it coming out, I like that to be really short," he added. "They're all a ways off, and we'll talk about it when we talk about it."
While waiting for "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date, fans can just focus their attention on Bethesda's current project. Reports have confirmed that a Special Edition for "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 is underway.
