Michael Schumacher Health Condition Latest News Updates: F1 Legend’s Wife Corinna Continues To Live With Hope Despite Husband’s Undetermined Recovery

More than two years after Michael Schumacher's unfortunate skiing accident in the French Alpine Resort of Meribel in December 2013, the 47-year-old German Formula One legend remains out of the public's intrusive eyes. In fact, Schumacher is currently undergoing rehabilitation under the supervision of 15 medical experts headed by Professor Jean-Francois Payen in his Geneva, Switzerland mansion.

As Michael Schumacher's family continues to deal with the uncertainties surrounding his recovery, Schumi's wife Corinna has been reportedly living with "big hope" and "great willpower." Due to her positivity and strength, Corinna receives praises from Payen, who supervises her husband's treatment and rehabilitation.

"She has displayed in every way an exceptional willpower," Payen said, as per The Bitbag. "She knew the seriousness of the situation and the long road that lay before them. She looks at things very clearly and makes every effort, and gives everything, which can help to improve the condition of her husband."

In addition, an insider also revealed that Corinna has been Michael Schumacher's "guardian angel" ever since they become a couple, noting that nobody loves Schumi more than his wife. The source also told Daily Mirror that if Schumi won't surpass this ordeal he's currently facing, then life will also end with Corinna.

"No one loves him more than Corinna," the insider said. "If he should not come through this, then life as she knows it will also end. She could never love again."

Meanwhile, updates about Michael Schumacher's health condition remain elusive as the ongoing media blackout requested by the Schumachers continues. But during the Nurburging Awards in May, the longtime manager of the seven-time F1 champ, Sabine Kehm fought back her tears when she accepted the lifetime achievement award honoring Schumacher's work.

According to Bunte, Kehm delivered a very emotional acceptance speech on behalf of Michael Schumacher, telling the audience that it would be better if Michael could personally thank them instead. But since it's not yet possible, Kehm said that it's best if Schumacher fans and supporters would "accept and learn to deal with" the racer's current situation.

"We have to accept it and learn to deal with it," Kehm said, Sports Mole quoted. "We will continue to hope and do everything so that it will be different again."

Despite the uncertainties and rumors regarding Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery, an F1 insider told Daily Express that if hope and love were all it took to recover then perhaps Schumi has already fully recovered months ago. Speaking of unwavering hope, love and support, avid Schumacher fans continue to make hashtag #KeepFightingMichael trend on Twitter, Parent Herald previously reported.
