Samsung is still on high following the coveted unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 a few days ago. This time, the Korean tech giant is setting its sights on a follow through with another flagship phone.
Numerous sources have claimed that Samsung is developing the Samsung Galaxy S8, maintaining the company's trademark of releasing pairs of noted gadgets. A Pocket-Lint post has recently indicated that the company is planning on scrapping out flat bezel-design phones and stick to premium design options for its future mobile line.
With a new Samsung Galaxy S8 in planning stages, it is also believed that this would come out as an Edge version alone, less the flat screen. The company has dealt with production issues with the Samsung Galaxy S6-S7 Edge models, to cater to customers on a budget. Samsung's popular curved amoled screen designs have prompted the pricing for a Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge version to remain competitive in this case.

The buying public's familiarity on Samsung's naming of its gadgets have its upcoming mobile gadgets (with the Galaxy S8 included) as follows: Galaxy S8 Edge, Galaxy Note 8, and a bendable Galaxy X. The Galaxy S8 is also said to have a high resolution 4K/UHD screen, and a USB-C (as seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 already).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a 5.1" screen, leading to speculations for the Galaxy S8 to have the same dimensions and the Edge variant to have a 5.5" inch screen as well, in a related Trusted Reviews post.
Plus, the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be integrated with a powerful Qualcomm snapdragon 830 chip set. The new, and more improved Galaxy S8 is said to be released between March to April of next year.
