There is no doubt that Cleveland Cavaliers is still enjoying their victory in the last NBA season. Now, is the team keeping all the players that deliver its first NBA title? While LeBron James plays the major role in Cavs sweet victory, his running mates also contribute. But reports have it that Cavs will be parting ways with Kevin Love soon.
Los Angeles Lakers is rebuilding their team and per NBA trade rumors, the team might add the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward and center on their roster. Centrio Times suggested that despite contributing to Cavs' title, the team might trade Kevin Love because he is the most "tradeable" star player in the team.
The report notes that Cleveland Cavaliers will trade Kevin Love because he is not fit on their roster. Cavs gave LeBron James more minutes at the last quarter and is paying Love $21 million as a reserve bench player.
LA Lakers' Julius Randle and Larry Nance are a potential replacement for Kevin Love. Meanwhile, Love's addition to Lakers will benefit the team as well. In addition, Lakers does not have a wide option for a star trade. Love might be heading to Lakers in the mid-season.
The report stressed that Los Angeles Lakers are only left with their young core talents and they struggle to improve their core. If Lakers' core is strong enough, a trade for Kevin Love will not be necessary.
Meanwhile, Parent Herald previously reported that Laker wants to sign OKC Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook. Unfortunately for the team, Westbrook is loyal to Thunder and has signed an extension. Now, Lakers are still looking for a potential replacement for Kobe Bryant after losing the player to retirement.
In a separate report from Parent Herald, there are predictions that Lakers will be the worst team in the Western Conference. Thus, the team should work on improving their roster for the next NBA season by acquiring talented players.
