‘Final Fantasy 15’ Release Date, News & Update: Square Enix Delays Game For Polishing; Possible Release On November?

Square Enix has announced that the release of one of the most anticipated games of 2016, "Final Fantasy 15," has been delayed, much to the dismay of loyal fans. Square Enix revealed that the game needed further polishing to ensure the best possible outcome for players, thus adjusting "Final Fantasy 15" release.

Three years since the release of "Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn", fans of the science-fiction fantasy RPG have been patiently waiting for the latest instalment in the series. Many were delighted upon hearing that "Final Fantasy 15" was finally going to be available on September 30. Then suddenly, rumours came out of the delay, alarming fans from all over the world. According to Kotaku, news of the delay triggered meltdowns from rabid followers everywhere.

"Final Fantasy 15" director Hajime Tibata confirmed the unfortunate rumors via YouTube, saying "From the moment we joined this project, our vision was to create a level of freedom and realism previously unseen in the series," adding that although they regret having to delay the game, this is going to turn out to be a good decision as they want to ensure that players get the Final Fantasy experience they deserve, according to Gamespot.

Tibata also went on to announce that November 29 will be the new release date for physical copies of "Final Fantasy 15", and that downloadable content along with new patches will be made available in the future.

Square Enix also informed fans that the delay of "Final Fantasy 15" will not prevent the planned August 30 release of the game's accompanying CG movie "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15," according to Polygon.

The last instalment in the series,"Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn" which was released in 2013, was met with critical acclaim, with IGN giving the game 8/10, it's no surprise that fans are eager for the release of "Final Fantasy 15."
