'American Horror Story' Season 6: Ryan Murphy Spills Theme; 'AHS' Will Be Like 'The Twilight Zone'

"American Horror Story" Season 6 still remains a mystery although we do not have to wait that long to finally see "AHS." Ryan Murphy provided "AHS" fans with mini teasers as clues, and this season it is revealed that the upcoming show will have children as the theme.

FX president John Landgraf officially announced the airdate for "American Horror Story" Season 6 and fans would love to know that "AHS" will finally come this September 14. While "AHS" provided its fans with a couple of mini-teasers to mislead us, they mentioned that one of these ten-second teasers is accurate.

Now, it is revealed that the upcoming "American Horror Story" Season 6 will have the theme of children which makes the "Lullaby" or "The Bloody Benders" teasers probably the right ones. While the location and the actual storyline for "AHS" still remains a mystery as Ryan Murphy wanted to show everyone the real theme on September 14.

It is also strange for "American Horror Story" Season 6 to premiere on September when all its previous episode all started in October. One reason may be because of the decline of viewers for "AHS."

"American Horror Story" mostly enjoyed high viewership since it first started but during "AHS" Season 5, the number of viewers significantly declined, according to Cinema Blend. With the mystery surrounding Season 6 viewers' anticipation, however, is also growing.

How FX and Ryan Murphy is dealing with the talks surrounding "American Horror Story" Season 6 is considered good advertising as most fans would really wait for the premiere of "AHS." Ryan Murphy was asked about how long he would be running "AHS" and he said that he wants it to be like "The Twilight Zone" which must mean that I "American Horror Story" could be on TV for a long time.

"But John has always said, and I have always agreed, that this is a show that could be like The Twilight Zone and run for multiple, multiple seasons and have its own inner mythology," Ryan Murphy said. "So that's how we're approaching it. I'll keep doing it for as long as we have the ideas and the momentum. I really love doing it."

"American Horror Story" Season 6 will premiere on September 14 at 10 PM E.T. on FX.
