The Utah Jazz is looking to piece together a formidable team in the upcoming NBA season, with rumors going around the league that they are looking to trade for star point guard John Wall and stand-out big man Markieff Morris of the Washington Wizards.
After the Utah Jazz came off a disappointing regular season, where they were only one game away from clinching a spot in the 2015-2016 playoffs, the Gordon Hayward-led Jazz look to recuperate and reorganize over the summer. The Salt-Lake City based ball club is now finding missing pieces to complete their puzzle for the upcoming season, in the form of John Wall and Markieff Morris.
The Jazz is definitely a team with great talent on their roster, with Gordon Hayward and NBA veteran Joe Johnson at the forward spots, and French center Rudy Gobert manning the middle, for their starting lineup. According to the ESPN Trade Machine, which predicts successful trades for teams, The Jazz will have a couple of wins added to their name if Wall and Morris were to be transferred.
What Utah certainly lacks is a strong backcourt, and this is where all-star point guard John Wall comes in. Wall would certainly be a major upgrade for the Jazz's current point guard, Dante Exum. John Wall's scoring ability and explosiveness is a must for a team that's not really famous for their offense. For Morris, his role for the Utah Jazz will be some much needed depth at the power forward position, and his shooting ability would allow the Jazz to space the floor.
A rift between the Wizards duo of John Wall and Bradley Beal has been recently made public, according to a report from Sportsrageous, that both players have tensions about playing with one another. This could mean that either of the two just might be changing teams before the season starts.
