There are less than three weeks more to go before "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 will finally premiere but the official cast list won't be revealed until Tuesday, Aug. 30. In spite of the fact that ABC has yet to announce the official participants for the upcoming season, the network had already revealed the professional dancers who will be flaunting their killer dance moves on the "DWTS" dance floor.
For the past several weeks, the online realm has been running abuzz with predictions, suggestions and rumors about the upcoming celebrities who will be brave enough to take the challenge of showing their dancing skills in "Dancing with the Stars" season 23. But even though ABC has yet to make an official announcement, ABC's "Good Morning America" has previously confirmed the participation of eight professional dancers such as Lindsay Arnold, Sharna Burgess, Allison Holker, Artem Chigvintsev, Gleb Savchenko, Witney Carson, Val Chmerkovskiy and Sasha Farber, Parent Herald previously noted.
Latest "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 reports, however, have revealed the comeback of Hough siblings, Derek and Julianne, who are also well-recognized "DWTS" professional dancers. But while Julianne will be taking the role of a judge, Derek will return as a pro competing for the mirrorball trophy with a celebrity dance partner, Deadline revealed.
The "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 comeback of the Hough siblings will also see the addition of Val Chmerkovskiy's brother Maksim. According to People, Maksim took a four-season break from the "DWTS" dance floor and he's also expecting a baby with fellow pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd.
As for "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 celebrity lineup, Entertainment Tonight learned that Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, singer-songwriter Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and "Brady Bunch" star Maureen McCormick were reportedly part of the official cast list of the competition. An ET insider also added that "7th Heaven" actress Beverley Mitchell might also be on board the hit dance reality contest.
Lochte, Babyface and McCormick will reportedly join other confirmed "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 participants, including model Amber Rose, "General Hospital" star Emma Samms, "Wizards of Waverly Place" actor Jake T. Austin and "Little Woman" actress Terra Jole. For the official cast reveal, tune in on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, Aug. 30, as per Us Weekly.
