‘ARK: Survival Evolved’ Latest Updates: Studio Wildcard To Release Latest Xbox One V739.0 Patch Soon? Update Aims To Enhance Game’s Resolution, Framerate

Ever since "ARK: Survival Evolved" had an Early Access release on Steam in June last year, Studio Wildcard has continued its efforts to improve and develop the dinosaur-themed survival game. As a matter of fact, the game has received several patches and content add-ons, which aimed to prepare the game for its full release later this 2016.

Speaking of "ARK: Survival Evolved" patches, WCCF Tech revealed that Studio Wildcard may be releasing the latest Xbox One v739.0 patch on Sept. 1. The said update will reportedly enhance the game's framerate and resolution, which is currently having an odd resolution at sub-720p with the gameplay while its user interface rendering at around 1088x612, Eurogamer's Digital Foundry noted.

According to tech experts, "ARK: Survival Evolved" current resolution is challenging gamers to detect and observe smaller animals in the game, not to mention making it harder for them to read the text in the user interface (UI). Fortunately, Studio Wildcard co-founder and lead designer Jeremy Stieglitz took to Twitter on Monday to announce that the game's resolution will be finally boosted by the upcoming Xbox One v739.0 update, according to Inquisitr.

"ARK: Survival Evolved" official patch notes, however, didn't confirm the said resolution boost on Xbox One. Instead, the notes hinted some attention-grabbing information, which is about the 10 percent framerate improvement on Xbox One.

With that said, Studio Wildcard is indeed working hard to further enhance and optimize "ARK: Survival Evolved" on Xbox One console. Additionally, the upcoming Xbox One v739.0 patch will also improve the game's performance.

Meanwhile, Studio Wildcard is definitely unstoppable when it comes to bringing more additional content to "ARK: Survival Evolved." As per SegmentNext, Studio Wildcard map maker Ben Burkart revealed some additions in the game's "The Center" map.

There are also some new add-ons to the "Edge of the World" area, which features the Green Obelisk, the Redwood Island bridge and the North and South mountain in "The Center" map of "ARK: Survival Evolved." More optimizations are also expected to the game's console versions.

With the new additions, players will be provided with greater opportunities to explore a new playable area. The latest "Edge of the World content," which will also feature an Ice Palace, is schedulee for release on Sept. 4 through the PC v246.0 but as for Xbox One gamers, the content will be released in mid-September.

The optimizations for "ARK: Survival Evolved" Xbox One version will be included in v739.0 patch on Sept. 1. Unfortunately, the said update will be the last optimization released on the game's "The Center" map.
