Fall is just around the corner, and one of the best things to do would be to relax on your couch and watch TV. Here's a roundup of new shows you shouldn't miss this 2016-2017 TV season.
First up is "The Good Place," which is set to premiere on Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. on NBC. It will then switch to Thursday nights. "The Good Place" tells the story of Eleanor, played by Kristen Bell, who was killed by a truck full of boner pills. Due to clerical error, she ended up in heaven.
Next thing you shouldn't miss is "American Housewife," scheduled on Oct. 11 at 8:30 p.m. on ABC. It's a comedy show narrated by Katy Mixon who plays as a middle class mother trying to raise three children in a wealthy neighborhood in Westport, Connecticut.
Another show to watch out for is Jessica Parker's "Divorce" on HBO to Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. It's a comedy series following Frances, whose husband was cheating and wanted to be out of their marriage. She re-evaluates her life and realizes that trying to have a fresh start is no easy feat.
Fox's new drama, "Pitch," is also a must see. Scheduled to debut on Sept. 22 at 9 p.m., the series features Kylie Bunbury as young pitcher Ginny Baker, the first woman to play Major League Baseball. Not everyone at her San Diego Padres team wants her in, and as a rookie, she naturally has to prove herself.
Finally, "This Is Us" is another promising drama on NBC, which will debut on Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. It tells the stories of a group of people born on the same day, turning 36 and about to face one of the biggest turns in their lives. Featuring the story of love, courage, family, hope, and love, "This Is Us" trailer has already over 51 million views on Facebook alone.
