One of the most iconic animated adult comedy shows, "South Park," will soon release another action RPG video game called "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" this coming December. It is the second "South Park" video game, following "South Park: The Stick of Truth."
The first "South Park" video game for the Playstation 3 Playstation 4, and the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, "The Stick of Truth" was met with generally favorable reviews, with critics praising the game's hilariously well-written script, gameplay, and visual style which stayed true to the original "South Park" animated series, however, the game was censored in numerous areas due to it's crude and mature themes. Despite the censorship, "The Stick of Truth" was well received and garnered good scores from critics and fans alike, and now the sequel "The Fractured But Whole," aims to do the same.
In the "The Fractured But Whole", Cartman plans on making a movie franchise based on his original superhero characters created by him and his friends, but after a dispute over the movies, the heroes are torn apart and turn on each other, forming two separate groups that face each other to prove who the better superhero team is, and who will make the better superhero movies, according to Trusted Reviews.
Players will once again control a new kid in South Park, will be a part of team Coon, the racoon-inspired alter ego of Cartman. The new kid will get to choose his own superhero type among 12 superhero classes, to fight alongside Coon and his super friends, build his own background story, and hone his powers to become the greatest superhero in South Park. The new kid may also call on the super friends for assistance in the game. In-game exploration is much like the first game, but in "The Fractured But Whole," players will get to go around South Park at night, according to Game Spot.
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are back on board as writers for "The Fractured But Whole," and Ubisoft will serve as the game's publishers.
