Matt LeBlanc's "Man with a Plan" on CBS will debut on Monday, Oct. 24 at 8:30 p.m. This marks the actor's return to broadcast network television years after his famous show, "Friends," bowed from the small screen. With his comeback, will his new show likely stage a "Friends" reunion?
Matt LeBlanc spoke with Entertainment Weekly regarding the possibility of seeing former "Friends" cast mates on his new show. He revealed that there are no plans for "Man with a Plan" to do a "Friends" reunion. However, should there be one, his buddy Matthew Perry would most likely be the best choice.
This is not only because Matthew Perry has been his roommate on "Friends" for 10 years. The actor also has a show on CBS, "The Odd Couple," which is filming in the same lot at the studios with "Man with a Plan."
"The most logical one would be Matthew because he's on another CBS show and they're right next door," Matt LeBlanc said. In fact, they have been running into each other on the CBS lot while at work. "He's one stage away," said LeBlanc via People and reaffirmed that Matthew Perry and him remain to have an amazing friendship.
However, Matt LeBlanc stressed there has nothing has been talked about on "Man with a Plan" about having Perry or any of his "Friends" cast mates. For now, the show has yet to be introduced to an audience or establish itself in the ratings that any stunt casting might be premature.
"Man With a Plan" is a story about a dad who works as a contractor and agrees to become more active in taking care of three kids since his wife is going back to work. The show also stars Liza Snyder, as his wife, and Grace Kaufman, Hala Finley and Matthew McCann as their kids.
