Niantic's shutdown of PokéVision and other third-party applications was felt by many "Pokémon GO" players. PokéVision was successful in helping users track common and rare Pokémon alike and how long they will be available in a spawn location. But fret not; new apps are popping up to replace Pokévision and among those tools is PokéMesh.
PokéMesh is a real time Android app that displays all the Pokémon, PokéStop, and Gyms around a trainer or in a selected location. "Pokémon GO" players can hide the Pokémon they don't want from the Pokédex and use the app's overlay feature to scan or find Pokémon fast and easy.
PokéMesh is also capable of running in the background via the Relax mode and will show push notifications even the device's screen is turned off or locked. You can download PokéMesh here or from APKMirror.
PokéMesh was recently upgraded to a version 7.0.0, which introduces bug fixes and improvements. Prior to the update, the app froze on the login page in some devices. New PokéMesh improvements include the step marker, Share window, and Pokémon information window, The Bitbag listed.
The new PokéMesh update removed the circle scan animation as well to boost the device's battery performance and improve players' "Pokémon GO" experience. Aside from those, the tool is now allowing players to bookmark PokéStops and Gym sites on their information page.
The constant updates of PokéMesh put it as one of the most reliable PokéVision alternatives. Just this month, PokéMesh underwent three updates (Septembers 4, 5, and 8).
Another "Pokémon GO" tracker is PokéLoke, a new app that also indicates which Pokémon are currently near players. The tool allows users to pick out the Pokémon they want to catch and show them on the map. According to Trusted Reviews, PokéLoke's notification settings can be configured so it sends players an alert when the Pokémon they want appears nearby.
PokéFind, on the other hand, is an app that shows players how long a Pokémon will stay in a spot via a tiny countdown clock displayed under every Pokémon icon on the map. PokéFind also has a CP/Evolution Calculator that shows a Pokémon's CP so players can make sure that the Candies they spend for evolutions will be worth it. With PokéFind, "Pokémon GO" users will know how strong a Pokémon will be after its evolution.
