Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ 1.4 Patch [LATEST UPDATES]: Ubisoft Introducing ‘Diablo’-Like World Levels? Massive Changes Coming Soon Amid 1.4 Update Release

Following last week's report about the delay in the release of Tom Clancy's "The Division" Public Test Server and 1.4 patch "Special Report," Ubisoft released some interesting information about what could be expected in the game. In spite of the fact that some details remained a secret, the game developer announced one massive change that will be introduced into "The Division."

Based on a "State of the Game" stream on Thursday, Sept. 15, Ubisoft revealed they will be introducing "Diablo" -like "world levels" in Tom Clancy's "The Division." According to Forbes, this massive change that aims to alter the base difficulty and rewards of the game came from a feedback Ubisoft got from their recent summit.

The publication added Tom Clancy's "The Division" will now have four World Levels, as well as various tiers of gear. These are World Tier 1 with 163,182 gear; World Tier 2 with 182,204 gear; World Tier 3 with 204,229 gear and World Tier 4 with 229 (the current maximum level of gear in the game).

In addition to the aforementioned Tom Clancy's "The Division" World Tiers, the game will also introduce additional and gradual enemy difficulty settings, which will range from Hard to Challenging and to the highest Heroic tiers. Unfortunately, Forbes contributor Paul Tassi has revealed one major issue that could ensue with these changes and that is about the gear to complete the highest tiers, which will reportedly drop in those challenging levels.

Aside from the "Diablo"-like World Levels, Ubisoft is also preparing for a massive overhaul on Tom Clancy's "The Division" core features through the much-anticipated 1.4 update. As per Game Rant, the latest update regarding the upcoming patch seemed promising and one of them is a better time to kill feature in the endgame.

Another interesting change in Tom Clancy's "The Division," was the return of the patrolling bosses in the PvE open world. Based on the announcement, these patrolling enemies will continue to regenerate over time hence, giving players a relentless farming loot and fighting enemy tactics outside the Dark Zone, mission and incursions.

Meanwhile, Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 update is scheduled for release in October. However, Ubisoft has yet to announce the game's Public Testing Server following the delay, GameSpot noted.
