The 2013 hit movie "Frozen" is reported to return with a sequel. Although, Disney announced the making of "Frozen 2," it has not revealed any news on its production.
The alleged movie "Frozen 2" is surrounded by many speculations including rumors that Disney might have changed the plan and decided not take the sequel forward. It has also been speculated that the "Frozen" team is finding it difficult with the storyline and music. However, there is nothing in official.
There are rumors strongly suggesting that the storyline would not cast Elsa and Anna anymore, rather a prince in search of his dream princess. As there were reports claiming that the reason behind the "silence" about the upcoming sequel is the sudden decision to go through a casting call for new actors to join the story.
However, actress Kristen Bell, who voiced Princess Anna in "Frozen," explained that those rumors were not true.
"They are not rushing the script." the actress revealed. "They have the luxury to not rush because everyone is going to be excited whether it comes out tomorrow or in five years. They're making it as perfect as they need it to be and we're on call to start recording whenever."
Bell also added that the writers are working really hard to meet the expectations of the famous "Frozen" particularly with the storyline and music. When asked about Anna and Elsa's relationship as sisters in "Frozen 2",
Bell revealed, "I'm sure that they [writers] will have to challenge their relationship in a new way and I'm sure that they will have to have an even bigger event to prove why kindness and familial love is paramount."
Bell's words "relationship in a new way" hints that Elsa and Anna will no more have the sibling relationship.
"Frozen 2" is expected to release in 2018.
