NBA Trade Rumors: Jimmy Butler Coming To Los Angeles Lakers? NBA Team Wants To Fill Kobe Bryant's Post

The NBA training camp is set to take place in the coming weeks but the trade rumors about Jimmy Butler is still not put to rest. According to the latest reports, Butler will be acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers as they want to create three alpha players within their team to make them a great competitor in the coming 2016-2017 NBA season.

The Chicago Bulls shooting guard is reportedly to be acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, and future first-round Draft picks. The Los Angeles Lakers is reportedly trying to improve their roster and sealing the deal regarding Butler would be the best move they can come up with.

However, the trade regarding Butler might take place during the midseason, Mobile & Apps reported. This will most probably take place after December 15, 2016 as Clarkson recently signed a contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers. Butler is believed to fill the void left by Kobe Bryant after the legendary NBA star retired from playing the sport earlier this year.

Butler has excellent offensive skills, which will really help the Los Angeles Lakers to make their mark once again in the Western Conference league. The 27-yearold averaged 20.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game in the 2015-2016 NBA season.

For Chicago Bulls, the trade will also be beneficial as acquiring Clarkson and Randle will drastically improve the on-court offensive skills of the team.

Yahoo Sports also reported that it is possible that the Chicago Bulls want to trade Butler because he cannot co-exist with Rajon Rondo and Dwayne Wade. He reportedly has problems sharing the spotlight with the two.

Other reports are saying, however, that Chicago Bulls is hesitant to trade Butler as he is one of their star players.

None of these reports have been confirmed yet.
