'iZombie' Season 3 Air Date & Latest News: Ken Marino, Daran Norris Guest Star, Season 2 Run Coming On Netflix

"iZombie" will welcome guest stars Ken Marino and Daran Norris in Season 3 as filming continues on location in Vancouver. The show's second season will finally come to Netflix's streaming service, which will give viewers a chance to catch up before "iZombie" Season 3 begins in early 2017.

"iZombie" producer Rob Thomas revealed in a Twitter post that Ken Marino and Daran Norris are going to guest star in the show's sixth episode for Season 3. However, this isn't actually the first time the two actors have graced the series.

Marino played a lawyer named Brandt Stone in the second season of "iZombie" and he will be reprising the role, while Norris has appeared on the show two times as Johnny Frost, the weatherman. "iZombie" star Rose McIver also shared her photo with the guest stars on Twitter.

It is still unclear what the episode will be about or how the two actors' roles tie together. But "iZombie" Season 3 Episode 6 is supposedly entitled "Some Like It Hot Mess," per Spoiler TV. Eddie Jemison, Ryan Devlin and Natalie Alyn are also going to guest star in "iZombie" Season 3, while a spate of returning actors from the past seasons are also expected.

Meanwhile, "iZombie" Season 2 has finally arrived on Netflix, which gives more viewers a chance to learn about and follow the series. Netflix Life reports that Season 2 will begin streaming Oct. 6, 2016 at 12:00 am Pacific Time. Viewers can binge-watch the season for the whole month of October as part of the platform's arrangement with The CW.

"iZombie" is expected to return to The CW in its mid-season slate, which kicks off in January 2017. There are speculations that the show will be scheduled on a Friday night as it takes over "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's" timeslot. However, the network has not yet made any official announcement regarding mid-season schedules. Stay tuned!
