With the "Final Fantasy 7" remake confirmed to be underway, fans just can't seem to get enough updates about the new Square Enix title. The new game was formally announced during the E3 2015, but sources are claiming that gamers shouldn't expect any significant updates from the developers this year.
As iDigital Times reported, Square Enix has intended to keep a tight lip about the development of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake so that hype and buzz won't actually get in the way of fan expectations for the new game. As the publication noted, developers are focused on making an outstanding game rather than rush it and disappoint fans.
The publication added that with a massive project such as the "Final Fantasy 7" remake, Square Enix puts a premium on getting it right. The new game, as previously reported, will be released in three parts and will have new story segments.
Meanwhile, previous reports claimed that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake remains to be one of most wanted games by the gaming community. The new game places 6th on Famitsu's list, with "Final Fantasy 15" leading the pack.
Rumors are rife that the first part of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be released as early as 2018. The two installments will allegedly be launched after in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
