The "Final Fantasy 7" remake will still take a long time to complete, but the fans' excitement for the new title are not dying down. While Square Enix has yet to confirm any specifics about the new game, gamers have already offered their predictions for the upcoming title.
It has been confirmed that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be a multi-part game. Sources are suggesting that the first installment will most likely be released on 2018, followed by two more games in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
In a Reddit forum, fans started to speculate the release date timeline for the upcoming Square Enix titles that include other highly anticipated games like "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy XV." As one fan mentioned, he's not expecting for any "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date confirmation in the near future, but he is suggesting that the title won't come earlier than "KH3."
In a Videogamer report, it has been revealed that both "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not be included in Square Enix roster of releases for the current financial year ending in March 2017. This has somehow put things into perspective that a 2017 launch will be highly improbable for the "FF7" remake.
It was previously reported that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will somehow draw inspiration from "Kingdom Hearts 3." As game producer Yoshinori Kitase previously mentioned, the new title will have an active dynamic moving forward, University Herald noted. And although rumors don't really have a valid source, it has also been speculated that the new title could be a PS4 Pro exclusive.
