'Stranger Things' Season 2 Recasting Eleven Following $100K Demand From Millie Bobby Brown's Father?

Casting "Stranger Things" actress Millie Bobby Brown can get very expensive as reports indicate her father is asking for a $100,000 signing fee from the agent who will represent her. The approach is unheard of in Hollywood, which might affect the 12-year-old actress' work. Could this also affect her role as Eleven on the Netflix series?

The Hollywood Reporter (THR) broke the story about Millie Bobby Brown's father, Robert Brown, who is demanding an upfront free from whoever signs up the "Stranger Things" star. The young actress recently left her former agency, hence the family is choosing who can represent her next in Hollywood.

Five agencies have apparently expressed interest to represent the "Stranger Things" favorite. However, they have been taken aback by Millie Bobby Brown's father's demand. Upfront payments are not illegal, but agents describe this as an "unorthodox" way. "We just would never go there," a long time agent told THR.

Mashable reports that Millie Bobby Brown has a manager, Melanie Greene. However, she still needs a Hollywood agent for her work in America. Agents and managers apparently do different work for actors and the "Stranger Thing" star is not just any other actor. She's Hollywood's current hot property.

Millie Bobby Brown and her family moved to the United States from England to support her craft. She has appeared in shows like "Grey's Anatomy" and "Modern Family," but she struck out after landing the part of Eleven on "Stranger Things."

Meanwhile, regardless of how Millie Bobby Brown's family settles with an agency, it's still unclear whether she will be back on "Stranger Things" Season 2. The actress has recently hinted that she's still unsure of her participation in the Netflix series' return in 2017, as reported on Parent Herald. Speculations have been cropping up that "Stranger Things" is casting more characters similar to Eleven, per Telegraph.
