A "Pokemon GO" app called "PokeGOD" has been listed on the app store which reportedly created a buzz among "Pokemon GO" players. Apple, however, seems to have removed the app as "PokeGOD" can no longer be searched from the app store as of this posting. Meanwhile, the latest "Pokemon GO" update from Niantic revealed that a new feature is arriving soon.
"Pokemon GO" players are already aware that game developer Niantic is putting a lot of effort to block cheaters and prevent them from infiltrating the game. This may be the reason why some "Pokemon GO" players were surprised to learn that "PokeGOD" was listed on Apple's official app store. "PokeGOD" was available for download for $1.99 but unfortunately, it seems that the app can no longer be downloaded from the app store, BGR reported.
For the uninitiated, "PokeGOD" is reportedly considered as a "Pokemon GO" cheating tool which the game developer does not allow. It is an app that acts as a personal assistant or a bot that allows the actual "Pokemon GO" players to stay and rest while the bot moves around and catch Pokemons. "PokeGOD" copies the "Pokemon GO" player's location and cheats "Pokemon GO" servers by stimulating a walk at a pace that Niantic would not be able to detect.
Meanwhile, Niantic is set to reveal a new "Pokemon GO" feature that will allow players to receive rewards for a more exciting Pokemon hunting experience. Niantic is apparently adding a bonus system wherein players will earn a catch bonus as they catch enough Pokemons of a certain type.
"Pokemon GO's" new catch bonus can then be used by "Pokemon GO" players to have a better chance at capturing their desired Pokemon with a related type. Additionally, the new feature would also allow players to have an increased chance of catching rare Pokemons, Kotaku reported. Niantic, however, has not revealed the launch date of the said update yet.
