Anime fans were thrilled after it was confirmed that one of their favorite Adult Swim Toonami show will soon be making a comeback. "One Punch Man" will final air its finale, but fans do not have to fret as the show's second season is already confirmed.
Saitama will most definitely be making a comeback, as Forbes confirms that "One Punch Man" is already locked for season 2. The Toonami show which originally started as a webcomic by ONE turned out to be a hit for anime lovers."One Punch Man" follows a story of Saitama who wants to be a superhero. Saitama can easily destroy any villain with on punch. His superpower, however, is something that doesn't interest him as he finds it dull and plain.
"One Punch Man" was eventually adapted and was turned into a manga by Yusuke Murata. It then gained more popularity as it continues to keep its readers and viewers hooked. It was eventually screened on Adult Swim's Toonami just this year, with 12 episodes for its first season.
"One Punch Man" will finally air its finale for the first season tonight, October 8, 2016. The episode entitled "Strongest Hero" reveals Saitama's battle against Lord Boros. For the finale, fans will get a glimpse as to who would leave the battleground triumphant.
Lord Boros can also defeat is opponents with one blow, which would give Saitama one of his most challenging battle for the "One Punch Man" finale. What made Lord Boros a challenging opponent is the fact that he's part alien, making stronger than his human competitor.
Saitama is set to defend earth as Lord Boros is set to conquer the world. "One Punch Man" season finale will also provide a leeway for the introduction of its second season.
"'Season 2' is what I've been saying forever and ever, I want to see a Season 2," Makoto Furukawa, the one playing the voice of Saitama said during an interview. "Not only I, but another cast, staff, and everyone, and to me that has a lot of feeling that want to see Season 2, now that the second season has been announced. Really I am very happy."
