Anyone who grew up in the 90s would surely want to become one of the Power Rangers back when they were kids. These cool superheroes who were dressed up in different colors and battled crime with their strength and robots were definitely one of the greatest things that happened to every child in the 90s as they look forward to watching these superheroes in Television.
The fandom was so great that sales for merchandise and video games were off the charts during that era. Now, the generation back then should be excited as there is a new Power Rangers game entitled "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Mega Battle" coming to today's video game consoles, and it sure is a throwback to the old-school Power Rangers that everyone has grown to love.
MSPowerUser reports that the gameplay will feature leveling up characters, original cut scenes and dialogues, unlocking special weapons and attacks, as well as see familiar enemies that were featured in the first two seasons of the series. Players are also able to unlock new characters such as the White Ranger and other human characters.
The people from IGN also report that Megazord battles and a co-op mode where characters combine skills in order to perform special attacks. Looking closely at the trailer, one would easily identify the classic beat-up gameplay as well as the graphics of the game which can be seen from the trailer, one would see that the game is essentially a throwback as it is reminiscent of the early games of the 1990s and 2000s -- a deviation of the extreme EGIs that have been trending as of late.
Power Rangers will definitely be the trend in 2017 as there is also a Power Rangers film hitting the big screens sometime soon. "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Mega Battle" is expected to be released on the PS4 and Xbox One platform in January 2017.
