Hold your horses! The robbery strategy board game, "Train Heist", will soon be out for mass production as board games giant, Cryptozoic, and Tower Guard Games, will offer it hand-in-hand by 2017.
In a report by Gaming Trend, the cooperative train robbery board game will be rolled as a multiplayer game. Two to four heroic cowboys are on a task in "Train Heist" to halt the corrupt sheriff and his wealthy co-conspirators from stealing the town's money.
"Train Heist" runs approximately 45-60 minutes and it is made more complex through the use of Events Cards, Wanted Cards, among other elements. "Train Heist" map was reported to include Crackpot Canyon and other tunnels.
According to Cryptozoic's official press release, "Train Heist" has been highly commended by the famous online game critic, Richard Ham. Ham said in his YouTube vlog review that "Train Heist" is a game that can be a catered for kids and adults alike.
On one hand, players can do the game easy as the mechanics are relatively easy to be understood by kids. But on the other hand, "Train Heist" can challenge any adult up to a high difficulty.
In his Kickstarter page,"Train Heist" one-man company creator Sean McDonald expressed how he had been over the moon when he learned about Cryptozoic's interest with his board game. Initially last year, his company, Tower Guard Games' "Train Heist" had only 1,000 printed copies release due to budget concerns.
The creator was informed that his game has been highly sought for in gaming stores, until the owner brought one copy in a gaming fair in New York. To his luck, months have gone, he has finally been contacted by Cryptozoic. The rest is history.
There is no official release date for "Train Heist" just yet. Nonetheless, Cryptozoic announced that it will be available early in 2017.
