'Blindspot' Season 2 Spoilers & Updates: Allie Gets Shot! Will Kurt's Baby Survive? Jane Takes Charge

The mother of Kurt Weller's (Sullivan Stapleton) unborn child on "Blindspot" will be in danger in this week's episode, which airs on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 8:00 p.m. on NBC. Allie Knight (Trieste Kelly Dunn) will get shot during a crossfire with the mobsters and Jane will be taking charge of the situation.

Entertainment Weekly cites that Allie will reveal a "shocking secret to Jane," which no doubt connects to her pregnancy on "Blindspot." In the preview for the show's upcoming episode "Condone Untidiest Thefts," which you can watch at the end of the article, Allie gets the bullet as the U.S. Marshalls and the FBI team engage the mob.

Now, it looks like Allie won't survive her ordeal on "Blindspot," which puts Jane (Jaimie Alexander) in a real bind. If Allie dies, what would happen to Kurt's baby? How will she be able to face Kurt knowing that she was teamed with Allie when this happened?

It's no secret that Jane and Kurt almost had a relationship in the first season of "Blindspot." However, before the romance could take off, things between Jane and Kurt turned sour. This new developmentmight further alienate the two from each other or it could open doors for them to re-examine their friendship.

Meanwhile, "Blindspot" Season 2 has been on for almost five weeks since its return to NBC. Last season, the show was the number series to debut among the new crops of shows, yet its numbers have fallen since. In Season 2, NBC moved the show to a new and earlier timeslot, which has been stable in the ratings so far, according to TV By The Numbers. It's too early to tell if "Blindspot" will get a third season renewal but there will be more fans can expect from its second season, especially with the addition of Jonathan Patrick Moore, Deadline reported.
