Trick or Treat! 'Overwatch' has now revamped their look for Halloween, and is now filled with goodies for the spooky season. The Halloween patch for the game was announced by developers, Blizzard Entertainment.
"Overwatch" released their Halloween patch on October 11 and their official website revealed that the theme will last until November 1. The colorful first person shooter multiplayer has included new features and content such an updated version of the Hollywood map, whose haunted streets you can explore and find Jack-O-Lantern themed loot boxes filled with all kinds of treats.
According to the "Overwatch" official website, there are plenty of unlockables throughout the new Halloween patch, which can be found by looting the newly designed lantern boxes. The boxes may contain new limited edition skins and victory poses, with 12 new skins available for the "Overwatch" characters, as well as additional voice lines, intros and player icons. You may be able to collect all of the skins and poses if you look hard enough for them, though players would still have to pay for the unlockable items with the in-game currency, unlike the Summer seasonal event patch.
Another thing to look out for in the "Overwatch" Halloween patch is the new Player vs. Environment brawl called "Junkenstien's Revenge" where players will get to play as Ana, McCree, Hanzo, and Soldier 76, and defend Adlersbrunn castle against waves of enemy robots as well as the occasional appearance of Dr. Junkenstein and Junkenstein's Monster, according to an article from IGN.
