It's official--fans indeed abhor "No Man's Sky". The controversial game has yet again reached another distinction as its reviews in Steam reached an all-time low.
A report from VG247 says that the space exploration game was reviewed by over 71,000 users in Steam, and "No Man's Sky" holds the top spot for overall negative ratings. Almost 6,000 players have marked "No Man's Sky" as overwhelmingly negative.
The surge of negative "No Man's Sky" reviews came after the game made players extremely unsatisfied with how its developer, Hello Games, has rolled out the game. Prior to "No Man's Sky" release, creator Sean Murray, made a lot of promise of how "No Man's Sky" would be out of this world.
For a time, it became sixth in the leading digital video games in United Kingdom. As reported by Parent Herald, "No Man's Sky" even helped digital game sales to rise up to 11 percent.
However, two months after the glory days of "No Man's Sky", it quickly dipped to rock bottom. "No Man's Sky" then became the game that had the sharpest declining number of players.
While "No Man's Sky" reviews in Steam are mostly negative, there are about 32 percent players who rated it positively. Also as reported by Parent Herald previously, some Reddit users remain loyal and hopeful with the game despite criticisms.
After a long hiatus from public announcements, it was known that Hello Games is currently busy working for the improvement of the game. "No Man's Sky" Audio Chief Paul Weir announced that Murray is fine amid death rumors.
Per Playstation Lifestyle, there is a possibility that the "No Man's Sky" creator will be guesting in Geoff Keighley's "Live with YouTube Gaming" within this month. However, the exact date as to when it will be is still unknown.
