Google is effectively promoting its own device and fans are eagerly anticipating what Google Pixel will contain. But would Google Pixel be able to defend itself from big competitors like Apple and Samsung which have successfully saturated the market?
Google Pixel may just be new in the industry when it comes to providing smartphones but it can easily attract consumers because of its fast reach. According to Forbes, Google Pixel is Google's plan for a larger strategy in mobile business.
Google's plan is to have a strong Android alternative to Apple and also an alternative Samsung. Google Pixel can also take advantage of Samsung's disarray at this time as they are losing billions of dollars because of its Samsung Note 7.
As Google Pixel will launch soon just right after the end of Samsung Note 7, this will also give them a good head start in the smartphone market especially since according to the latest survey, Samsung owners would not even want to buy a Samsung product now that their reputation got a bit tainted.
But what should be expected from Google Pixel? Digital Trends reported that Google Pixel will have an almost perfect hardware and software integration. It will come with a 5-inch AMOLED display, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, and will be run by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.
While Google Pixel is only 5-inch smaller than other brands but its looks and feels like a very high-end device since the smartphone is made of hard polymer plastic. The resolution of the upcoming Google Pixel will have a higher pixel density at 441 pixels-per-inch with brighter and sharper colors.
Of course, when it comes to Google Pixel's camera, t is still a winner, as it is able to improve its HDR+ processing which allows faster capture of photos and processing will also be fast. It has a 12.3-megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixels front facing camera.
With the specs given for the Google Pixel and its $650 price tag makes this smartphone a very high-end commodity. Google Pixel is rumored to be released this October 20.
