"Orange Is The New Black" brought the final scenes of Season 4 into life as the inmates and production crew protested against Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump. Touted themselves as "Vaginas Against Trump," the crew was led by Lea DeLaria or more popularly known as Big Boo in the Netflix original series.
In a report by Daily Mail, DeLaria and the rest of her "Orange Is The New Black" gang let out a solid message for the business magnate, primarily through DeLaria's tweet. "Cast & crew of OITNB says f*** you trump," the "Bear With Us" actress' post read.
Protest of "Orange Is The New Black" cast and crew came after Trump has been deeply under fire for the leak of Trump Tapes, where he is heard sexually assaulting women. Trump then denied the allegation during the second presidential debate but has said an apology days after, according to The New York Times.
The 58-year-old queer was accompanied by her on-screen Litchfield bestie, Tarryn Manning, who reprises as the devout Catholic former meth-head, Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett. Other inmates who protested were Emma Myles, aka Leanne, and Julie Lake, aka Angie.
The group was also seen to be in black and orange ensembles, with their name's group flashed as a statement. While it has been a bold move to diss the businessman seeking the Oval Office position, one user was not impressed.
"Love diminishing women as just a body part. So classy," says the user, to which DeLaria replied "You're right! I'm objectifying women." DeLaria added: "I'm so glad this straight white guy was able to point out my evil ways."
Per Hollywood Reporter, most of the "Orange Is The New Black" stars showed support for Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton. Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes), Taylor Schilling (Piper Chapman) and Natasha Lyonne accompanied DeLaria in a political advertisement for the Democrats presidential bet.
