'Better Call Saul' Season 3 Latest Updates: Cast Spotted Filming in New Mexico; Bryan Cranston Confirmed To Join The Show?

The New Mexico Film Office has officially announced the filming of the Season 3 of the successful TV series "Better Call Saul." Bob Odenkirk and the rest of the cast are returning to New Mexico for the filming.

The protagonist Bob Odenkirk has insinuated the feature of selected characters from the much-acclaimed series "Breaking Bad" in the upcoming season of the "Better Call Saul." According to Ecumenical News, Odenkirk said, "You are going to see a lot of Jesse (Pinkman). Because Jesse knew about Saul (in "Breaking Bad"). Obviously he saw him on this TV commercial, but honestly, it felt like he had somewhat an understanding of Saul. Maybe he had met him. I think there is a better chance we would see him."

Also, when questioned about the highly anticipated and popular demand of the appearance of Walt White, Odenkirk added "I think the showrunners go wherever the story wants to take them, so if they decide they want a scene during the years of 'Breaking Bad,' I think they might do such a thing and we would see Walter White. And I think Bryan (Cranston) would be game for that."

Refusing that he is the right person to leak the details of the story, Bob says that unlike the writers he does not plan out the entire story in his head. He prefers taking out the small moments given to him and plays them honestly without thinking of the bigger story.

According to Albuquerque Journal, he attributes the popularity of the show to the success of "Breaking Bad," which ended before the people could get enough of it. "'Better Call Saul' has a got a solid, amazing audience because 'Breaking Bad' ended before people were sick of it. They still loved it and wanted more so they have given us a chance and they have watched our show" Odenkirk said.

"Better Call Saul" has completed two seasons of ten episodes each. The third season, also of ten episodes is currently being filmed at Albuquerque Studios in New Mexico. The show will be premiered early next year on AMC.
