More royal babies are coming, Prince William has hinted.
In an interview with Skynews, which took place on his first day on the job as an air ambulance pilot for East Anglian, Prince William was asked by the press on whether he's keen on expanding his young family. The 33-year-old let out a chuckle and said, "We've only just had the second one. You never know what is going to happen in the future."
Bookies in the U.K. are already saying that the royal family will be making an announcement of their third baby as early as next year, according to Mirror. Some have noted that the age gap between the royal kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, is only 21 months. It is similar to the age gaps between Prince William and Prince Harry as well as Kate Middleton and her younger sister, Pippa.
Back in April, an uncle of Kate said that the royal couple definitely want more than two children. At that time, the public was still waiting for the second royal birth and friends of the family have said, "Whatever this baby is, there'll be another one," People reveals.
Meanwhile, the Duke of Cambridge is enjoying being a father of two and did not hold back when talking about his children in the television interview. "It has been fantastic, and she has been a little joy of heaven," he said to Sky News, referring to Charlotte. "But at the same time it is more responsibility, looking after two little ones, especially when George is around. He's a little monkey," the prince revealed.
He also gives credits to his wife saying, "It is fantastic having a lovely little family, and I am so thrilled. Catherine has been doing an amazing job as a mother, and I'm very proud of her."
The prince, no doubt, has many challenges ahead with all the duties he's expected to fulfill as a royal, pilot and father. However, he claims that he welcomes the challenge. "At the moment I'm juggling the two of them, and a young family. I'm enjoying it, and I like the challenge, but yes, inevitably down the line, things will probably become a little bit more difficult for me to do that. But while I'm still relatively young, I can manage the two jobs as best I can," he said, according to the Telegraph.
Prince William's salary from East Anglian Air Ambulance will reportedly be donated to charity, according to CTV.
