"Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel" released on PC and also rolled out to console networks a few hours later. If you are a "Dark Souls 3" Season Pass holder, you can download the DLC right away from the PSN, Xbox Marketplace or Steam.
Once the "Dark Souls 3" is installed, the Ashes of Ariandel DLC can be accessed by traveling to Cleaning Chapel in the Cathedral of the Deep zone. You'll need a "Dark Souls 3" save far enough along to be able to access this area as it is not unlocked from the start. You'll find a hooded and bearded fellow sprawled out on all fours next to the altar. You will have to talk to him and strike up a conversation with him. Eventually, he'll ask you to touch his weird blood-stained handkerchief. This will transport you to the elusive Ariandel.
As per the reports, you'll have to be at about level 80 to dive in from a standard save. If you are at a much higher level, you won't see many challenges. New Game+ travelers will probably have to be a fair bit higher. It is a known fact that the "Dark Souls 3" will not be as easy on your second visit and beyond.
It is now known all over that the "Dark Souls 3's" first portion of DLC released way before its official launch date. It's now officially live worldwide, reported VG247.
Players who already had an experience of the "Dark Souls 3" noted that many of them came across one boss during a couple of hours within the expansion. However, it houses two bosses as per the reports. This seems to be in line with the Steam reviews that have surfaced since launch. The add-on will take up two and six hours to finish, reported PCGamer.
"Dark Souls 3's" Ashes of Ariandel DLC is out now for £11.99/$14.99 via the Humble Store and Steam. For more updates, keep reading Parent Herald.
