A returning character is going to bring trouble on "Blindspot" in the upcoming episode. Airing on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 8:00 p.m. on NBC, the seventh episode of the show's second season, "Resolves Eleven Myths," will feature Rich DotCom (Ennis Esmer).
Meanwhile, fans hoping for Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) to continue where they left off in the romance department on "Blindspot" last season might be disappointed. The #Jeller pairing will be hitting a rough patch and might actually be dead.
Rich Dotcom returns on "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 7 this week as he seeks the help of the FBI through Weller's team. The character was arrested on the show last season for his connection to tech crimes and he tried to escape custody.
According to Entertainment Weekly, he's back with the FBI in this season of "Blindspot" as he's supposedly in need of protection. "Agent Weller lies in wait to take down a deadly assassin while a terrified Rich Dotcom cowers for cover," executive producer Alex Berger told the news outlet.
However, in trying to protect Rich Dotcom from an assassin on "Blindspot," Weller's team will be at great risk. In the teaser, which you can watch at the end of this article, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) is seen knocked down on the floor. Will she be OK?
Meanwhile, in the last episode, viewers saw how Weller and Nas (Archie Panjabi) slept together, which essentially puts more dent in the romance between Jane and Weller. According to "Blindspot" creator Martin Gero, #Jeller might take a while to come around. Gero even hints that its possibility is getting slimmer at this point.
"It's going to take some time for them to organically get back to the place they were, if that's even a possibility," Gero said, per Collider. But the relationship of Jane and Weller is definitely going to evolve in some way.
