"How I Met Your Mother" actor Jason Segel who portrayed the character of Marshall Eriksen expressed that he is down on the possibility of "HIMYM" reunion. Fortunately, Segel seems to be readily on board if ever the producers will pursue a "How I Met Your Mother" reboot. Could Segel's positive vibes on a possible "HIMYM" reunion fuel the writers and producers to plan another season or could this be another rumor that will not come to fruition?
"How I Met Your Mother" star Segel told The Hollywood Reporter that he will be in for any plans that the "HIMYM" producers come up with. When asked about his opinion on how the story should progress, he revealed that he was never involved in writing the "HIMYM" script. He added that he will just leave the script to the brilliant writers.
"How I Met Your Mother" reboot, however, has not been confirmed as of this posting. It remains to be seen whether the hit 2005 series will actually get a reunion anytime soon. Fans of "HIMYM" may need not get their hopes high as it is not the first time that "How I Met Your Mother" has been rumored for a reboot.
As pointed out by Parent Herald, rumors on "How I Met Your Mother" comeback already hit the headlines in 2015 when "HIMYM" creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays announced their return. However, it turned out that Thomas and Bays developed a new series and not a new season of "How I Met Your Mother." That said, fans are advised to take the rumors with a grain of salt until a solid confirmation has been released regarding a "How I Met Your Mother" reboot.
"How I Met Your Mother" premiered on Sept. 19, 2005 and ended on March 31, 2014. What can you say about a possible "HIMYM" reunion? Let us know your thoughts after checking out a "How I Met Your Mother" finale clip below.
