Manny Pacquiao Jessie Vargas WBO Welterweight Championship Match: Is the Boxing Champ Pacman Unprepared for This Fight?

The much-anticipated return of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao against Jessie Vargas has been getting mixed feelings from boxing fans all over. One issue that's been brewing as of late is this: Is the boxing champ Manny Pacquiao fighting unprepared?

The question stems from the fact that the boxing icon is nowadays known as Senator Pacquiao in his native country, the Philippines. Running for office in this year's elections won him another "belt" of sorts as he saw himself being a "lawmaker" instead of landing a "haymaker."

But the question now is "is he up to the task of putting away a guy like Jessie Vargas?" who appears to be in his prime as a fighter against the boxing champ Pacman who many consider to be on his way out in terms of boxing years. With his duties as senator, how does he find time to prepare for a major title bout like this?

"You manage your time and that's what I did in training for this fight," according to Pacquiao who officially retired after losing the Mayweather fight in a hard-fought decision. However, a year later saw him itching to get back in the ring and shake the cobwebs off, and this he did when he beat Timothy Bradley via unanimous decision in their trilogy. "This time I managed my time and disciplined myself from going to my work then to my training. I don't have any time to spend with my friends," boxing champ Pacman also said.

The 37-year-old boxing champ Pacman, a southpaw who hails from General Santos City, Philippines, will climb to the ring with a record of 58-6-2 with 38 Kos, while the 28-year-old Vargas has an impressive record of 27-1 along with 10 KOs. So is the boxing champ Pacman ready for this fight?

I guess we'll see on Nov. 5.
