Fans of Glenn are still reeling and grieving for his gruesome death in the premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Glenn, portrayed by Steven Yeun, was killed off in the first episode of TWD season 7, after he was brutally murdered and smashed by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Now, what will Steven Yeun gonna do after seven years of "The Walking Dead?" Will he star in another zombie apocalypse film?
Fear not, Glenn fans! Yeun will be seen in two movies, both release dates not yet announced. Yeun is the main cast of "Mayhem," which, coincidentally, is about a virus that makes infected people erratically impulsive. He is also a star of Netflix original film "Okja," together with Tilda Swinton (who portrayed the "Ancient One" in "Doctor Strange," now showing in cinemas) and Jake Gyllenhaal. "Okja" is about the friendship of a young girl and a genetically-transformed pig.
In an article from E! Online, Lauren Cohan, also known as Maggie Greene, who was Yeun's wife in "The Walking Dead," quoted Yeun as "the most professional gentleman" and someone you know you can trust to have your back at all time. What he portrayed in "The Walking Dead" is not far from his real persona. Cohan also described Yeun as very goofy and silly.
Which is probably why Yeun's stint on Conan O'Brien's show left his fans laughing and wanting for more. According to Vulture, Yeun is probably tired of running from zombies, and playing pretend as Conan O'Brien is such a breathe of fresh air for him. Maybe this is a start of a new career for him? Because Glenn fans surely can't get enough of Yeun!
Are we going to see Yeun in a different spotlight now? Are we going to see his funny flip side from now on? One thing's for sure, fans wouldn't be remembering Glenn as eye-popping and brain-oozing, but with his current commitments, both in the big screen and TV.
