This coming November, new details for the "God of War" game for the PlayStation 4 won't be revealed yet at the PlayStation Experience event.
Cory Barlog, the game director of the new installment for the "God of War" series, will be present at the event but he won't be presenting the game. His main goal is to meet and greet PlayStation fans and try out demos with them.
The game director also said that once the new "God of War" for PlayStation 4 is perfect, fans will finally get a full glimpse of it. Sony is still preparing to announce the complete listing of new games that will be presented on the PlayStation Experience 2016 that will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center on December 3 and 4.
Sony announced that the new game "God of War" for PlayStation 4 was inspired by a "Star Wars" TV show that was already cancelled. The latest "God of War" game was first shown to the public last June during E3 2016, and it's being pegged as a much more emotional video game than previous installments.
The producers of "God of War" faced a challenge in making gamers take the main character Kratos in a much more serious tone. The story will present "God of War" in the center of the Norse mythology and it will also explore why Kratos ended up in that universe.
It was mentioned that the new installment "God of War" will boast a new style of gameplay and will have a brand new setting that will take advantage of PlayStation 4's capabilities. New opportunities will be given to gamers to explore the world of "God of War" in the same league as the company Naughty Dog introduced new elements on "Uncharted 4."
Back in E3 2016, the "God of War" demo presented to the fans showed a unique emotional bond between the main character Kratos and his son. On scene, the son of Kratos is being taught the basics of hunting wild animals, and in doing so, it added a new layer of emotion to the game.
The so-called "rage meter" that was usually used in combat throughout the game was suddenly implemented for the hunting scene, which was completely unexpected. This gives the PlayStation 4 version of "God of War" a subtle yet interesting detail that shows the maturity of the new installment.
