‘American Horror Story’ New Season Crossover Between ‘Coven’ and ‘Murder House’ According to Anthology Series Creator Ryan Murphy

Fans haven't even recovered from the brutal death scenes and massive twists from "American Horror Story: Roanoke" when anthology series creator Ryan Murphy recently announced last Sunday during Entertainment Weekly's PopFest yet again another upcoming addition to the popular series.

According to anthology series creator Murphy, this upcoming season of "American Horror Story" will revisit two popular themes: "Murder House" (Season 1) and "Coven" (Season 3). Certainly, fans will be on the edge of their seats for a jam-packed cross-over event.

Unfortunately for fans, "America Horror Story" crossover will not be next season. The delay of the new season's filming might be due to tight schedules for a few of its previous character actors. But this impeccably tiny detail could be the revival of some fan favorites.

Could they be Jessica Lange who played Constance Langdon in "Murder House," Sister Jude in "Asylum," Fiona Goode in "Coven," and Elsa Mars in "Freak Show"? Or even, Emma Roberts who debuted as Madison Montgomery in "Coven" and Maggie Esmerelda in "Freak Show"?

Actress Jessica Lange quit the anthology series after season 4 of "American Horror Story." The Academy award-winning actress simply stated she was "done." Meanwhile, rumors that Emma Roberts will visit the current season of "American Horror Story" might just be coming to a close as the season is about to wrap up. Who knows what tricks and twists anthology series creator Murphy has up his sleeve.

In an interview with Yahoo last December 2015, Roberts said, "Ryan and I said next season we'll do something amazing and devilish." "Next season I want to work with Lady Gaga for sure." In the following episodes of this season's "American Horror Story," we might just get a glimpse of "Scream Queen" actress Roberts.

"American Horror Story" is notable for its actors/actress portraying multiple roles in one series, or even one episode. Anthology series creator Murphy also mentioned in his interview, "There will be characters from Murder House and characters from Coven together. I've [already] started going to actors from both of the seasons, quietly, saying, 'I think in this window, if you could fit us in. So yeah, it's fun. It's weird."

So, fans of this famous anthology series will just have to wait for a while until the series preview will be released. In the meantime, watch "American Horror Story: Roanoke" Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
