"Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" is set to release in 2018. It is speculated that there will be a second game in the series even before the first game is released! The creator and designer, Koji Igarashi, talked about a sequel to the game.
It seems very surprising that already there is buzz surrounding a sequel to "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night." It is reported that Igarashi is keen on getting the game out in two years as he promised earlier. This promise was made even before he started working on the possible "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night 2." The creator also admitted that he had another idea for the original game but he was a little apprehensive if it will be received well by the fans of the game.
It is a question that is worth pondering on why "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" is taking this long. It is a known fact that Igarashi is known for being a perfectionist. He claims that the delay caused in releasing the game is because it isn't meeting the high standards that he has set. He just wants to get everything right, reported Bitbag.
Igarashi revealed that developing games while getting real-time feedback from fans was a new thing for him. So we can say that he is under tremendous pressure especially when he has to give constant updates about "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" to the fans who was willingly helping out with the development of the game, reported Digital Trends.
"Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" is set to release in 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and Mac. It is reported that the game already made up $5 million on Kickstarter when it was originally aiming for only $500,000. There is an option through which you can pledge at the least $5 to the project. A minimum pledge of $28 will get you a digital copy of the game. If you make a $60 pledge, you will get a physical copy. A maximum pledge of $10,000 will get you a special collector's edition with goodies. This will include a free dinner and a chance to play games with Igarashi on a live stream.
