Rockstar Games reset players' digital bank accounts for cheating by trying to break the virtual economy of "Grand Theft Auto V." The video game company released an update to their suspension and ban policy.
The update provides that first-time offenders will be temporarily suspended and have a character wipe. If after the sanction the offenders continue to cheat, they may permanently be banned from the online feature of "Grand Theft Auto V." The suspension's expiration will reportedly be flashed on the splash screen and will redirect to the story mode after an attempt to enter "GTA Online."
Playstation Life reports that the update will hopefully encourage players to stop messing around in "GTA Online." The gaming community appreciates Rockstar Games' efforts to create an even playing field online.
Gamers had been looking forward for the release of "GTA 6" and some are speculating that the game might be cancelled due to the long wait. Speculations further indicate that Rockstar Games is already spending too much for the updates of "GTA 5" and can no longer afford the development of "Grand Auto 6."
But according to Neurogadget, rumors suggest that the sixth installment to the "Grand Theft Auto" series is scheduled to be released in 2020. The delay is reportedly due to financial restrictions in relation to the alleged plan to incorporate Virtual Reality (VR) technology to the game.
Rockstar Games has released the previous five games in the series a five-year release cycle. This is the first time the developers are experiencing a delay.
In a press conference, Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies hinted that the video game company is taking its time in the development of the sixth "Grand Theft Auto" game. With the delay, fans are expecting "GTA 6" to be something big.
In the same article by Neurogadget, fans are reportedly hoping for the return of the jetpack from "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" which was released in 2004. The jetpack was a unique vehicle used by several players to accomplish in-game missions. In addition to the jetpack, fans also want more interactive buildings, a feature which allows you to play as the police, and a better hand-to-hand combat system.
In a separate report still by Neurogadget, speculations about the possible settings for "GTA 6" were revealed. The rumored locations include 1960's London, and Tokyo, Japan.
