A man who is suspected to be a video game developer was spotted working on a presentation for "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" in a Montreal subway. The logo for the possible new "Tomb Raider" video game can be seen on the top right hand corner of the presentation slide.
The photo of the man presumed to be a developer was posted on Reddit by a fan. No other information other than the name of the video game can be made out of the image. However, a source told Kotaku's Jason Schreler that "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" is indeed the title for the next "TR" video game.
The fan who posted the image on Reddit stated that the content of the slide the man was working on when he took the picture "talked about visuals." He further explains that he would have loved to disclose more information on the video game, but says that from where he was, everything else was blurry aside from the logo.
Rumors suggest that Eidos Montreal is working on the next game in the "Tomb Raider" series instead of previous "TR" developers Crystal Dynamics from San Francisco. The image was taken in a Montreal subway so it is most likely that the speculations are accurate.
Eidos Montreal recently announced "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," and have not revealed any information on a new project.
This is not the first time a major video game has been leaked because of developers being spotted working on a presentation using their laptop. Three years ago, a similar incident occurred on a plane, when a fan snapped a photo of a passenger working on a presentation for "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag."
